Lately, I’ve been experiencing moments of intense fear—and I have a feeling I’m not alone.

There’s so much happening in our country, in the world… it’s overwhelming. I try to balance how much news I consume, because I want to stay informed—but I also don’t want to drown in the sadness I feel for humans across the globe.

We weren’t built for this level of exposure.


We’re consuming news at a rate that our brains—and our bodies—were never designed to handle.

📺 Every time we see something tragic, our mirror neurons fire. We feel what we see.
💥 And our nervous system responds as if we’re the one in danger.


Which means we’re walking around dysregulated by pain that’s beyond our scope of life.

And yet—despite how intense this season has felt—I’ve been able to stay grounded.

Not because I’m strong.
But because I’ve been processing. Regularly. Out loud. With people I trust.

Naming the fear is the first step toward calming your nervous system.

I’ll be honest: I even have fear of releasing this episode.

It’s vulnerable to talk about fear with people who might not share the same fears as me.
But here’s what I’m holding onto—we’ve all felt fear.
Even if the logistics don’t match, the emotion does.

And that’s where we meet each other. Not in the details, but in the shared human experience.

💡 What would it look like to name it out loud instead of carrying it silently?
💡 What would it feel like to be met there—with compassion instead of correction?

👩🏻‍💻 Fear of all things work!

This shows me that while we all walk unique paths we can connect over what is happening in our bodies.

Fear can separate us, or it can be the very thing that helps us see each other more clearly. It can also help us feel less alone in our experiences. Do you relate to any of those fears?
